During our recent tour of the Delta Hotel, hosted by HR Director Peter Belford. We learned how Marriott has evolved from a small motor hotel in 1957 to become one of the largest and most respected hospitality brands globally. Its diverse portfolio spans luxury, premium, and select-service properties, each catering to different traveler needs—from high-end luxury at The Ritz-Carlton to more accessible accommodations at Courtyard by Marriott.
Understanding this wide array of brands was enlightening, as it highlighted how Marriott consistently delivers quality and exceptional service across all its properties, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience regardless of the brand.
The Delta Hotel Toronto, especially during its 10th anniversary, it is a prime example of this commitment. We explored what makes it so special—its modern amenities, elegant design, and focus on guest experience. From the spacious and comfortable rooms to the state-of-the-art fitness center.
The Delta Hotel Toronto exemplifies Marriott’s dedication to providing guests with the best. One of the most valuable parts of the tour was getting to peek behind the scenes and witness how the hotel operates at a high level. We observed the meticulous coordination required to manage guest services, food and beverage, and back-of-house operations.
